That partially-armored skeleton gave me an erection. Barring some complete screw up I'm calling Toy line of the Year for 2016 right now.

Dave Proctor did a Q&A session on the KS Comments section ending just about an hour ago that I brainfarted and forgot to jump in. I doubt I would've had a unique question, tho. This response seems key:

As of my conversation this morning, most of the test shot comments have been addressed. We have not seen these new samples yet, so I wouldn't be surprised if there were still one or two lingering issues to comment on, but from the sound of it, they would be very minor. A package will be shipped to us on Nov 5th, containing those new samples and possibly some painted samples as well. No production will begin until our upcoming on site mega meeting. Thats the earliest items could be given the green light, if they pass muster. Look for some significant updates to follow that meeting.

They say they're still on-schedule to get the KSers their stuff by the end of the year, so no worries about that unless you didn't join in the KS.

Another update, with this most interesting pic. I think this is the first pic of the neck assembly (that I recall, at least). I had been assuming the HACKS had a simple neck ball like Joes and SWs, but seeing there's a double-ball barbell gives me the giddies. Head inclination is the closest action figures can come to having varying facial expressions, and allow for a lot of subtle differences in posing.

BFS have been in China this week about to start the full-n-proper production run. Here's a sample of the completed product (this isn't off the conveyor belt, but what such items should look like):

They should be at all the usual websites, including BFS' own. Different sites will have various repaint exclusives, and BFS will have PreCurse Medusa as their exclusive and whatever Con exclusives are left over. It's gonna get confusing and expensive to be a completist.

From Facebook -

Carded/boxed single figures - $19.99
Exclusive 2pks - $44.99
Blanks - $12.99
Accessory Packs - $9.99
Skeletons - $12.99.
Begin to budget appropriately. heart emoticon

The price of those skeletons...I'll take that because I was expecting it higher.

I forget, will any of the accessories in the accessories packs or any of the armor fit on the skeletons without some sort of clip to hold it all in place?

Yes, the Skeletons come with the armor-compatibility clips. I think they're all going to be clear, but don't quote me on it.

What's the point? There's nothing to see down there. The thongs are especially "wtf?".

What can I say, anachronisms stick out to a "rivet counter" like myself.

Nothing a little sandpaper ca 't fix.

anyways I've mentioned this in a couple places but I'm working on a line for possibilities that these blanks offer as figures now.

You can see all the ones I have added
V HACKS possibilities

I've just got the concept art in as placeholders for now but will update whit actual pics once these come in.

So any ideas these can be used for?

I'm very seriously considering the trans blue male and female for modern Adventure People X-Ray Man and Woman homages.

I agree that a ridiculously small amount of painting will turn the blue buck into Dr. Manhattan.

I think adding flesh-toned heads to different colored bodies will probably be very useful for spandex-clad superheroes. Also foresee lots of scantily-clad Twi'lek slave girl customs, too. I don't see much use outside of those, but I'm notoriously short-sighted.
