Wonder if they will make those the cycles that transform? That would be one way to get use out of that worthless mold.

They are, but the male figures tend to be too large for them.

My WWII LJ looks good on them, though.

haha. I'm the only person in the US who get up and leave during the Superbowl commercials. I can't stand any commercials at all. I'll wait the next day and watch the 5 good ones on youtube.

I really am impressed with Chu, as he has his stuff together.

In a recent interview, he acknowledged his interest in the Marvel Comics series (in particular, "Silent Interlude," which features a scene in the film that is reminiscent of the issue).

Glad to see this, in addition to his push for Cobra Commander taking a more serious role as the villain. Also like that Chu was against Snake Eyes having lips, and his push for real weapons and ammunition over laserses.

All around, this guy seems to be a huge step above the losers who foisted Rise of Cobra onto us.

Yeah, I saw that interview, too. He said that CC isn't the same character from the first film... ?

Which was worded funny. Does he mean characterization, or an entirely new person? Because that was odd, and I don't know how you seamlessly segue from one to the other.

Also, seems that we'll see Destro, albeit probably in the "Ark of the Covenant" glimpse cameo like in the last Indy flick. Just a passing, nothing more.

Exactly.

I think Chu said a lot when he mentioned a preference in "starting off with a clean slate," or words to that effect.

I keep in mind that Chu and the new cast were brought on due to ROC being such a disaster. Whether people admit ROC was a disaster or not, doesn't matter. Chu is trying to turn things around, and it is refreshing to see his comments on it all.

I have no clue how they fix that, but hopefully they do and it's not too bullshitty. That whole Rex thing was lame as fuck. (Coming from me, that should mean something.)

I'm just gonna leave that there for you, Jon Chu and all the other "SE deosn't hev no Lipzone11!!!" revisionists. I like that there's some real weapons in the movie. Unfortunately not a lot of those getting in the toy line.

Yes, I am refering to all of Roadblock's weapons sucking dong. Couldn't give us that .50?

that interview was great...i wonder how much of what ended up in the movie is what HE actually wanted in the film...i mean, he waqnted to reboot it after all....maybe all the ninja nonsense wasn't his idea?

pretty cool interviews

last movie the cast made fun of the movie and didn't have anything good to say, you could tell that they didn't enjoy making it and that it sucked.

This movie's cast is actually excited about it, true signs that the movie is going to be much better.

Why do they have to have such shitty toys for, what appears to be, a good movie!

Is this bizarro world?? Argh.

My only hope is that it's successful, and they get back the budget to do real figures for GIJOE3.
