Yeah, I didn't think a Huey pilot with a cap sounded right. Though the smooth nose Hueys came with pilots with a removable helmet as opposed to the original where it was a sculpted deal. And while on the topic, I could sure use a Vietnam era fatigue cap. And a MacGuyver head sculpt....

Various 21st figures with color changes, with some parts swapping (the heads on the DAK for one). The first lot are all JSI production wave 1 21st Germans. It looks like a 98 should, except perhaps in 1:19. A 1:18 98K should come in under 2 1/2" (2.42 or abouts). Aaaaand my camera battery just died. I'll do a ten minute partial charge and take a pic, as the one I was working with is probably now gone.

21st's barely noses in at 2 1/2", but that's it's only pro. Dragon's looks the best but is short. It's really a ground-up project.

Yeah, I can see that. The same is sometimes true with helmets, but I'm more apt to want to go with a "helmet on the belt/in the hand" pose than I am to go between with and without hat on. Cross Country is coming to mind. Need to see if I can find a cheap Cicil War figure in 1:18 to liberate...

I can see it on items that have less options to use (say I want night vision and a suppressor on an RPK), but I have better customizing things to do than switch out toy aimpoints and gun lights. I especially don't agree with it when it's a rehashing of an existing item taking up a slot that...
