I'd say it's a 21st Century Toys German großmantel/greatcoat, of the DAK variety. The Ardennes version was more pliable and was a lot easier to work with.

Could do that, though the helo technically belongs to the crewchief. It occurs to me that the muzzle blast on this thing would probably blow the peter pilot's windows out, but don't think a blast shield would look gnarly cool.

Run a G.I Joe logo right down the tail boom where the United States Army would go. Make them black, then green where they sit over the tiger stripes. Though with the antennas in place it would be a bitch to do. I intend it to kinda to be a Joe vehicle, though the bright white tail number...
