TD updates from the Hasbro Panel via Twitter:
-No new toy reveals, because of movie delay.
-Light year for movies since roc was bigger in product than movie could sell.
-Hasbro very happy with how movie came out. When came to product line, they need to find right size to the line.
-Retailers didn't like that they didn't sell enough roc.
-Roadblock emerging as strong character so the movie eliminated the weapons battle kata weapons combining thing.
-Wave 3, May release is not correct, production is now. Available late July maybe.
- Budo developed last year, stand out Samaria figure, armor based on authentic japanese historic armor.
-Kwinn, done he's in china ready to go.
-Data viper, fits into retaliation w/ modern military feel. Helmet gets quartoscopic vision sees 4 directions at once.

- Cobra combat ninja trooper with 2 heads, 2nd head based off Hama's blue ninja
-Ultimate Duke has 2nd head, has a drone and tons of weapons. Ultimate SE with wolf and tight outfit
-DG, wave 1 to DG mostly, wave 2 to Marshall's, tj max and online.
-Night landing raft w/ eel. Lowlights spotting scope etc in weapons pack of raft. Half rafts will NOT have cobra logo!
-Fangboat movie timing and toy timing was off, toy from sketch of movie, toy developed well before movie developed final version so toy is diff from movie.
- Eaglehawk in fall, started over on tooling and wanted appeal of 80s toy
-Hoist falls off and prop breaks on old tomahawk, so they replaced the issues with the brand new tooling.
-Liftticket next gen figure comes with two headsets so you can put 2nd figure in as copilot
-Ports and foot pegs in it. The ports are for the zip lines from ultimate RB and mouse!
-(Eaglehawk) Guns are removable so you can put rb 50cal in instead.
-They want to offer familiar iconic vehicles. Not brand new vehicles

-Impulse buy and blind bag is super popular. Series 2 is Not being made. It's on hold.
- Kreo 9 sets, 28 kreons, only at tru. Was made in very short deadline and turned out spectacular
-Not sure if rereleasing wave 1, 12 new for fall, Ghost striker & asp, arahikage dojo this fall. 6 figures & timber.
-SDCC will have exclusive set, will fill need for collectors wants. Large amount figures in that SDCC set. No details.
- Retaliation Cobra copter and ninja ice rail not in line but are on their "wishlist" to make, maybe.
- Kreo success maybe make a video game? Answer: might take a while but think its a good idea

And even IF it was something awesome, they are handing it over to GIJCC?!...so it'll be horrible looking figures like Iceberg at 1000% of the cost of what it should be...

I hope to fuck the Club has zero, and I mean zero, to do with the SDCC figures. We've gotten mostly new tooling (or at the very least, significantly new tooling) on all those figures. After Iceberg and their 50/50 chance of either knocking the figure out of the park (Footloose, Repeater) or totally flopping (Iceberg, half of the FSS set), I don't want them ruining the SDCC track record.
The fact that it's a multi-pack has me hoping that it wraps up the goddamn Sunbow figures, once and for all. Since it's SDCC, I may be crazy but I'm kinda hoping it's the few remaining Sunbow Joes and/or something that we can't get elsewhere, even if it's Cobra-La shit. It's niche, wouldn't sell at retail, but would require all-new tooling, and the SDCC guys seem to be able to swing that combination quite well.

according to GJ's, The club is more interested in getting copies of the exclusives again to sell on their store.
I don't actually want Cobra-La, mind you, but I don't think SDCC will do a sub-group like Eddie fears. Just doesn't seem like their thing. They'll hopefully do something that introduces new tooling.
And even if it's pricy, SDCC shit is well worth the money, and it's usually produced in numbers worth wasting their time over, unlike the Club, who seems to only want to stir up a frenzy and/or feed scalping.
