It's been said that there is going to be new product shown but I'm not so sure. Someone mentioned Hasbro isn't even there this year and I would have assumed they would have shown more new stuff at Toy Fair if that was the case.

It's looking like Kre-O and the "Eagle-hawl" are the only new product this year. That's a shame, considering how much time Hasbro has given itself during the delay to consider the future of the Retaliation line and the franchise as a whole after Retalation is over.
It looks like they spent that time just twidling their thumbs and whislting while waiting for the movie to come. Prehaps this is not the case, but it looks like the only really new stuff that will be coming out will be in 2014. Alot of the items for 2013 are just items that should have come out last year.

The Club will probably show off FSS 2.0, and I'd bet Hasbro would be willing to give them the SDCC figure to showcase, since it is JoeCon.

Beyond that, I don't expect to see anything else, but I hope to see something besides that. Otherwise, JoeCon has been reduced to a Scalperthon with very little extra pull to attract folks to attend in the future.

But I get what you're laying down. Hasbro thinks the average consumer is dumb and can't differentiate between the movie canon and the established canon. At least that's what they've hinted before. So I bet the entire brand was on hold to see how Retaliation did. Since it did what they wanted to green light another film, I assume they will expand the Retaliation line with occasional breaks and off screen characters.

I'd be really surprised if we didn't see some new product.

As I recall, the Eaglehawk's not in movie packaging, so it's likely a part of whatever line they'll be pushing next. I expect we'll see some of that.

Did Joecon last year show the Dollar General figures? I haven't seen anything new in a while about that second wave. Was hoping to hear/see more on them so I know whether or not to keep hunting for them.

But to be fair, there's a lot of unreleased figures we haven't seen in movie packaging. They could just as likely repack several figs in different packaging like with the last waves of PoC.
